Orlando, Fla.– During the quarterly Enterprise Florida Inc. (EFI) Board of Directors meeting held in September, board member Holly Borgmann, Vice President of Government Affairs for ADT Security Services, was named the new vice-chairman succeeding Joe York, President of AT&T for Florida and the Caribbean.

“We welcome Holly to this key leadership role at Enterprise Florida,” said Governor Ron DeSantis and chairman of the EFI board. “We have a lot of work ahead of us as a state as we recover and gain new economic ground in the months ahead, and Holly is well-suited to assist in these efforts.

The EFI Board of Directors has 59 voting members representing both the public and private sectors. The vice-chairman of Enterprise Florida serves a two-year term and facilitates the work of the EFI Board on behalf of the Governor of Florida who serves as chairman.

“I appreciate the opportunity to serve along with my colleagues at this critical time in our state’s history,” said Holly Borgmann. “Joe has done a tremendous job keeping EFI on mission during these last two years and especially these last six months. I look forward to continuing the great work he has done and serving with Governor DeSantis and the distinguished members of the EFI board.”

Borgmann most recently served as chairman of the EFI Finance & Compensation Committee and is a member of the Business Development, and Executive committees. She holds a B.A. from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in Journalism and Political Science.

A leader in the security industry, Borgmann serves on several industry boards dedicated to advancing public safety initiatives and other industry priorities, including the Electronic Security Association, the Security Industry Association, the Security Industry Alarm Coalition and the California Alarm Association. Borgmann has been recognized for her contributions to the industry, winning both the Security Systems News’ 20 Under 40 award in 2015, and the Security Industry Association’s Statesman Award in 2017. She was also named one of the Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Tech in 2019.
